Call for Entries: Garden of Dreams Art Competition 2013 May 29 2013

I came across this very interesting art competition: Garden of Dreams Art Competition presented by Magnolia Plantation and the Charleston Artist Guild. 

Competition Criteria: All entries must be original works depicting a scene at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, in the style of the Charleston Renaissance (namely William Posey Silva, Elizabeth O’Neill Verner, Alfred Hutty, Alice Ravenel Huger Smith, Anna Heyward Taylor, etc)

Entry Fee: $25 for the 1st entry and $15 for any additional entries.

The Prize: 1st place $3,000; 2nd place $2,000, 3rd place $500. 

Deadline: September 10, 2013

The award ceremony will take place on November 21.
